2024 MINISTRY REPORT

Recently Naomi's Village published it's 2024 Annual Ministry Report. It is a very encouraging and edifying report that highlights the impact of Naomi's Village as we stand together and declare, your kingdom come, your will be done here in Kenya. You can read the report by clicking HERE https://naomisvillage.org/cms2/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/2024-Annual-Report-4.pdf

We had a wonderful Easter break and were so excited to have various friends come and stay with us. We felt truly fortunate to enjoy time away in Amboseli National Park and Watamu on the coast, exploring the beauty of Kenya together. Term 3 has now begun, and the countdown to our move to the UK has started! There’s a lot to organise in the coming weeks, and we would really appreciate your prayers and support as we navigate this transition:

1. HOPE BEGINS WHEN A CHILD BELONGS

The call hasn’t changed—just the geography. One of the main reasons for moving back to the UK is to grow and develop Hope Begins. Our vision is to raise hundreds, then thousands, even millions(!) of pounds to "take up the cause of the fatherless" (Isa 1:17) and "remember the poor" (Gal 2:10) in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya.

Please pray for:

1. Wisdom and provision as we develop the ministry from the UK.

2. Open doors and generous partners who will join us in this vision.

2. FAMILY ON MISSION

“Send me… to the city of my fathers’ graves, that I may rebuild it.” (Neh 2:5) Returning to London carries a deep missional call. Living in Kenya has deeply shaped us, and now we desire to live intentionally for the gospel in the UK—embracing a counter-cultural lifestyle that provokes, challenges, and encourages both believers and those far from faith.

Please pray for:

1. Courage to live boldly and faithfully in this new season.

2. Opportunities to witness and serve in everyday life.

3. FAMILY IN TRANSITION

We’re thankful for answered prayers around housing and schools—huge pieces of the puzzle. One key area remains: a job for Sean. Despite flying back twice for interviews, doors have not yet opened. While this is frustrating, we’re encouraged. When God’s call is clear but the path is contested, it often means you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Calling does not equal comfort. The Israelites were led out of Egypt into the Promised Land—but the journey was anything but easy. Paul was shipwrecked three times, beaten, flogged, and even bitten by a snake his missional call was far from straight forward!

Please pray for:

1. A breakthrough in job opportunities for Sean.

2. Continued trust and peace as we wait on God’s timing.
